   My sister is quite the knitter, but she lives in Scotland right now, so she won’t be able to be there. When it gets colder, I’ll start wearing some of her creations.

   picture this: its thursday afternoon, 2pm. in the bay paul center conference room here at the MBL. the ceo /director(!) and everyone else who works on my project are assembled around a conference table. someone’s presenting data and everyone is taking notes. but not me. i’m sitting in a chair against the wall. knitting. (teach me how)
