jane magazine, 1997- 2007
i read you religiously on the beach, on the bus, on the plane, in the car . i loved your catchy slugs, and your paper quality. i dug you so hard i was your photo intern for a semester.

granted som recent stuff you pulled kind of freaked me out ( ashlee on the cover more than once, the boob story thing, the 30 year old virgin thing) but before ms. pratt left you were the s h i t.

it always really sucks when magazines fold, especially when they are ones you loved a lot, especially ones giving women a whole other take on how to see themselves and their world beyond sexy bedroom tips and beautiful but out of even dreams reach couture (sassy, mid- nineties mademoiselle, cat fancy, i am talking about you)

they employ a lot of hard working committed talented people who deserve to keep their jobs, their lives, their stability.

big ups to jane and those who worked there. hope only good things for y’all.
